Our daughter has been attending Woodcrest since we tried out the Woodcrest summer camp in 2016. We recommend it! Woodcrest has been nothing but awesome for our child and our family. On our tour, we noticed something very important. The kids get to be kids, while they are guided in a safe environment to grow at a constant pace. We checked out a bunch of pre-schools and Montessori schools (we both attended Montessori ourselves) and Woodcrest just had a great balance. We would probably consider our family a little academic driven with the idea of the child being an all-round child. Our daughter has been thriving here and has made great friends. She is constantly learning. Being the only child, it was also very important for her to improve on her social skills and Woodcrest has brought the best in her. We appreciate the staff for the constant dedication to the kids, as well as Miss Cilene and Miss Laurie who steadily sail the ship in the right direction and keep it all glued together. We have nothing but praises for Woodcrest!

Our twins 3yrs old attend the preschool. It's the first preschool that they have been enrolled in and it was a transition for them, especially our daughter. The teachers Ms Czarina and Ms Iris were especially understanding and nurturing in helping with this transition, helping us parents to continue the education process at home for consistency and effectiveness. Happy to say our daughter now loves school and along with our son, both have so much fun learning and exploring new activities daily, making friends, practicing independence and having pride in their new knowledge and skills developed. Great curriculum and mix of subjects, good use of KidsReports which gives updates throughout the day with pictures.

I highly recommend Woodcrest preschool. Although my kids have moved on since, they did a great job of preparing them for kinder. I always found them to be organized and pleasant to deal with, and certainly felt comfortable leaving my kids with them. Preschools are not necessarily perfect, few options if any are. But if you are considering preschools, I highly recommend Woodcrest.

My Son's Kinder teacher is talking about recommending him for, advancement placement next year. Thanks Woodcrest (Sherman Oaks). As a parent to hear a Teacher praise your child up and down for the wonderful job he is doing in class, is a great feeling and I honestly believe it was because of Woodcrest and their wonderfully talented teachers and top-notch, extensive curriculum. My son went to Woodcrest for 3 years and now we are preparing our daughter for enrollment over at their NEW Toddler Center, by the way looks AMAZING and is run by Miss Edie who is equal to none, her patience is saint-like and the dedication and encouragement she shows your kids is genuine. The School itself is CLEAN, the negative reviews about the cleanliness are all from Karen "Can I speak to the Manager " Smith and are totally unwarranted. The parking LOT tho can be a nightmare, so get there early and don't block me in! If you're thinking about Woodcrest Sherman Oaks, call them up and talk to Cilene who is Director and someone I trust with my kids, and she rarely blocks me in with her car. My daughter started Woodcrest at 2 years old.... after being a stay at home mom it was incredibly difficult for me to let her go. Every teacher has made this entire experience absolutely comfortable with each transition and my daughter considers each teacher a part of our family. Miss Diana and Miss Kristal are incredibly loving and my daughter has excelled academically with their constant attention and genuine care this year. My daughter has been a student at Woodcrest for over two years (our son just started last month), and every day I am so thankful that we enrolled them in this school. They are in a wonderful learning environment, surrounded by teachers who TRULY love & care for them. The school hours are also very accommodating towards working parents. My daughter is moving on to T-K next year and (as thrilled as we are), we are also incredibly sad to be moving on from Woodcrest. I know she is going to miss all her teachers and friends terribly, but we'll visit often!

We moved here from London and settled our children into Woodcrest very early on in the move. They have been beyond happy here, the teachers are fantastic and so accommodating; we couldn't have asked for more. They focus on academics which many other preschools don't; the children have progressed with their writing skills at a face pace and they enjoy their art projects, cooking lessons, yoga classes, visits from animals once a week. The class sizes are the perfect size - I couldn't recommend it more!

I enrolled my daughter in hear 3 months ago first time being away from home she is so shy and not feeling comfortable around new people she need push up to play and being comfortable with another kids I bring that to the director and explain her situation only with one talk she took everything In Her hands and took care of it she makes sure my baby girl feels more comfortable and she is playing with another kids as well ms Lilian and ms ala I will always recommend this school to everyone and sure think I will enroll my little one this place is clean and organized and I know my daughter it's in good hands all I know is that they care for the kids and sure think the director knows how to run and take care of the kids I I can say she really loves what she do and taking good care of her business thank a lot to all

My 2 year old started last week, and I cannot begin to express how impressed I was with how thorough Woodcrest is in keeping the parents in loop with their little ones. I couldn't make it to orientation, so I had to come another day, and the entire staff was warm and welcoming to me. I was filled in on exactly everything I needed for her to begin school. They gave me schedules, fingerprinted me, and made sure I was familiar with everything that she would be experiencing. I met all of her teachers and administrative staff. I felt great knowing how invested the staff is, and how safe my child is at school. I love the daily reports that shows me everything my child had experienced that day, including food logs, and what activities she had completed. Everything down to bathroom logs. I love that they potty train as well. Overall, me being a Woodcrest alumnus from 1986-1995, it feels great having my child start the Woodcrest journey as well. It's awesome that they have utilized today's technology to insure that the parents and child each have a positive experience with this school. Highly recommend Woodcrest Preschool.
